Zion Williamson, the number one pick in last year’s NBA draft, is inching towards making his full regular season debut on Wednesday against the San Antonio Spurs. Last night — on MLK Day — the former Duke star was warming up with his teammates pregame, wearing “Black History Month” Nike Air Jordan 34s, giving us our first full look at the design.

The sneakers feature a translucent mesh upper with snippets from Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous speeches printed across the entire upper. A black midsole with gold detailing and a gum outsole round out the look.

Williamson signed with Jordan Brand following a successful freshman year at Duke University and became the face of the new Air Jordan 34, going on to wear special PE colorways during the NBA Summer League.

Due to injury, Williamson has not been able to make his regular season debut just yet, though that is expected to change come Wednesday night, when his New Orleans Pelicans take on the San Antonio Spurs.
