Pitti Uomo is one of the biggest menswear trade shows in the world, being held in Florence since 1972. Every year, a guest designer is invited to show their latest collection, such as back in June, where Craig Green delivered a jaw-dropping show with a brand new Nike silhouette.

This year, Parisian label Y/Project will be presenting the Y/PROJECT FW 2019/2020 Mens collection at the show with a special event. Led by Belgian designer Glenn Martens, Y/Project is known for the experimental shapes and architectural silhouettes, notably a pair of Ugg boots, and collaborations with Diesel denim.

Lapo Cianchi, Pitti Immagine Director of Communications and Special Events commented that "Glenn is a designer who expresses an acute sense of humor, with a vision of fashion that is extremely personal, where there is room for the freedom to dress as you like, experiment and have fun – without raising barriers of any kind.”

To see what he means, check out the most recent menswear show from Y/Project here, and stay tuned for more coverage of Pitti Uomo 95 in January 2019.

In other style news, this brandless brand is potentially the future of fashion.
