Editor’s Notes: Willy Chavarria presents his FW20 collection following a video premiered during NYFW on February 3. Ever the storyteller, Willy honors the sacred days remaining on earth with a seasonal collection made of 100% recycled materials, partnering with Shanghai textile innovator RECYTEX. Synthetic fibers milled from discarded man-made refuse are transitioned into tailored garments with a distinctly sophisticated approach to the modern silhouette.

Willy's California Chicano patrimony is unmistakably present in the collection with deep pleats, wide legs, drooping sleeves and hints of Pachuco-era styling visible in broad shoulder suits and clergy-like dresses.

The color palette, meanwhile, is mostly black and white, symbolizing a clarity in space and infering a eulogy for man's final years on planet earth.

Look for the goods to release when the FW20 season rolls around.
