Versace

Versace launches its latest sneaker today. The Versace Trigreca was first unveiled on the FW20 runway and will be exclusively available online and in-store at select Versace boutiques on October 1. SSENSE will launch added colorways in November.

As the name suggests, the Trigreca draws inspiration from the luxury house’s iconic Greca pattern. The Greca is a geometric pattern crated from one, uninterrupted line. The pattern is seen on three parts of the shoe — the sole, midsole, and upper toe stripe — hence the name Trigreca.

The geographical coordinates of Versace’s Milan HQ are printed along the upper. Other details include a hidden 3D Medusa in the sole and a cork Greca Cushioning System.

Versace’s Trigreca sneaker is characteristically maximalist, featuring a chunky shape and busy upper with overlays and a mixed material construction.
