Double Tap to Zoom

Tupac Shakur passed away on September 13, 1996, but not everyone believes that he's actually dead. Las Vegas filmmaker, Rick Boss, is working on a new movie exploring one of the many conspiracy theories surrounding the rapper's death —  that Tupac made a great escape.

The film is tentatively titled 2Pac: The Great Escape From UMC. According to the filmmaker, Tupac may have been informed of a "hit" taken out on him and subsequently planted a body double in Suge Knight's car. Then the rapper allegedly got on a private plane, escaped from Las Vegas' University Medical Center, and relocated to New Mexico.

Talking to KTNV (clip below), Boss explained, "This movie is about Tupac actually escaping from University Medical Center here in Vegas and relocating to New Mexico [and] getting protection from the Navajo tribe."

He added, "When certain FBI agencies are looking for you, they are going to block the airport. So you can't travel out so the best way to escape is through helicopter, private helicopter to another state."

Boss also states he feels this is not a conspiracy theory. "You can write a fiction story, but this is not fiction. This is facts through certain people I know."

The movie is expected to arrive sometime in 2021. Watch Boss discuss the narrative below.
