The Complete Beginner’s Guide to Every Travis Scott Sneaker Collaboration
Travis Scott's 2018 was the biggest year of his career so far. Astroworld's Drake collab "Sicko Mode" landed him his first Billboard Hot 100 number one single and the album's accompanying tour, complete with carnival rides and Ferris wheels as stage props, saw Scott pack out stadiums across the US. In his personal life, he and Kylie Jenner celebrated the birth of their first child Stormi in February.
All the while, Scott's collaboration with Nike and Jordan Brand has been picking up steam. Even before he signed with the brand, the Houston rapper was a major supporter of Jordan products, often spotted in Air Jordan 1s. Now, the partnership seems set to deliver more big releases in 2019.

Travis Scott x Helmut Lang

Before he ever put pen to paper with Jordan, this Helmut Lang apparel and footwear collaboration debuted in 2017. First teased through Travis Scott's Snapchat and social channels, the pack included a range of graphic shirts and some outerwear, as well as one high top and one low-top sneaker. The collaboration was Scott's first high-profile fashion collaboration, which marked the beginning of his foray into design. On the tongue, a nod to Scott's home of Houston was made via the graphic bull imagery, plus straps across the forefoot of each, tying back to Lang's penchant for utility.
Travis Scott x Jordan Trunner LX

Originally introduced in 2000 after the Air Jordan 15, Jordan Brand's Trunner LX shares a few obvious details with its on-court cousin, including the same woven leather detailing on the upper. Scott reworked the Trunner LX with a Cactus Jack-inspired colorway, including bright color-blocking and handwritten details.
Scott explained the Trunner collab by noting, “I didn’t want to do anything traditional. I’ve never seen the Trunner with so many colors on it. I wanted something different, to see that model differently.” A very limited number of pairs were created to be worn by Scott while supporting Kendrick Lamar on his DAMN. tour.
Travis Scott x Nike Air Force 1 "AF100"

Scott joined Virgil Abloh, Don C, Errolson Hugh of ACRONYM, and Kareem "Biggs" Burke of Roc-A-Fella Records in creating his own Air Force 1 design for the "AF100" pack.
Scott's take on the 1982 basketball sneaker included a removable Swoosh, with three alternate Swooshes to be switched in and out, as well as reflective binding, a deubré shaped like Scott’s signature grills, and a gum sole. “I looked at the making of this shoe the same way I make an album," said Scott. "I wanted it to tell a story about me. I set the tone to go crazy at my shows. I’m the acid of rap.”
A green version was also spotted on the feet of Scott's tour DJ, DJ Chase B, however Nike later clarified to Highsnobiety "Travis Scott and his team customized their personal pairs at the Maker Space in Chicago. Not to be released in the market at the moment.”
Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 "Cactus Jack"

Inspired by the colors of former NFL franchise the Houston Oilers, this Jordan 4 featured a light blue suede upper with black and red detailing on the lace cage, laces, tongue, heel tab, and lining. The midsole was white and featured the model’s signature air bubble on the heel, complemented by a black outsole. Whether intentional or not, the colorway bears a lot of similarities to Eminem's own ultra-rare take on the Jordan 4.
A friends and family version was also made, with Nike Air instead of the Jumpman logo on on the heel of the general release.
As part of a Nike campaign for the brand's VaporMax silhouette, Scott told W magazine, "My first pair of sneakers was the Jordan 4s. I got those and Forces."
Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 Purple (unreleased)

Scott has reportedly been given carte blanche by Jordan Brand, including access to sample designs to be worn and tested by those in his circle. This would explain a few still-unconfirmed colorways, including a purple pair that was seen on the feet of Scott while courtside at Houston Rockers game. It remains unconfirmed whether these were a sample being tested by Scott, or a friends and family edition.
Travis Scott x Air Jordan 4 Grey (unreleased)

In addition to the purple sample or friends and family version, another grey pair of Air Jordan 4s was seen on the feet of Kylie Jenner. Again, the only information on this pair is speculative, as many believe the colorway was created as a sample or for friends and family.
Travis Scott x Nike Air Force 1 "Sail"

Re-issuing his "AF100" design with a slight tweak to the colorway, Scott released this "Sail" version in wider numbers, as a follow up to the original drop in late 2017. Nearly identical to his original design, the "Sail" version departs slightly from the classic white upper of the Nike Air Force 1.
Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1

Following a number of teasers via Scott's social media and an appearance on the feet of Adam Levine at Super Bowl LIII, this special edition pair of brown Air Jordan 1s was surprise-dropped via Nike's SNKRS app during the Grammys on February 10, 2019.
The collaborative Js feature a reverse Swoosh on the shoe's lateral side, plus an inner stash pocket and Cactus Jack detailing embossed on the heel and medial sides, giving us one of the most distinctive Air Jordan 1s in the silhouette's 34-year history. A wider release is sure to be planned for this very special Jordan 1, so stay posted for more information as it arrives.
Travis Scott x Air Jordan 33 NRG "Army Olive"

The Jumpman's latest silhouette has been reworked with military cues, including ballistic nylon on the upper, a "PULL TO EJECT" tag, and a toggle strap that reads "Designed and engineered to the exact specifications of Travis" in place of Nike's signature tag line "Designed and engineered to the exact specifications of athletes."
Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 (unreleased)

Just prior to his performance at Super Bowl LIII, Scott was seen backstage in a pair of army green Jordan 6s. The sneaker seems to align with Scott's other footwear designs, with military inspiration and added pockets. This yet-to-be-confirmed Jordan 6 features a pared-back olive green colorway, plus an external pocket with button closure.
Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low Brown/Black (unreleased)

To date, Scott has teased two versions of a potential Jordan 1 Low collab. Both feature the reverse Swoosh we first saw on the high-top Jordan 1, but the two low-top versions differ slightly in colorway. One is a low-top cut of the Jordan 1 High, featuring a a brown and black upper with white sole.
Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low Green/Black (unreleased)

A second version of the Jordan 1 Low features an olive-hued upper with distressed details. This version was spotted on Scott's feet at the 2019 Grammys but remained largely hidden under baggy tearaway pants. It's yet to be seen if the shoe will be released or whether it was a one-of-one created for Scott's use, but the rapper is certainly keeping us on our toes.
Travis Scott x Nike Air Force 1 “Texas”

Travis Scott took to Instagram in early 2019 to tease a Texas-themed Nike Air Force 1, which many users have assumed to be yet another collaborative project between the rapper and the Swoosh. No word yet on whether it will release or if it was a one-off design for the Houston rapper. From Scott’s Instagram post, we can see that the Air Force 1 features a mixed-material upper with graphic details and text on the quarter panel, as well as “TX” on a button closure at the heel. A white midsole and gum outsole combination rounds out the look.
