An armed-thief stole three pairs of Travis Scott x Nike SB Dunk Low from a sneaker boutique in North Carolina, Asheville Police Department has said. The robbery took place on Tuesday and an employee at the store, Sole82, was held at gunpoint before the suspect fled with the unreleased sneakers.

According to the release issued by APD on Twitter, one of the shop's employees was closing the store when he was stopped at gunpoint by a male wearing black clothing and a mask. Officers attempted to locate the suspect by setting up a perimeter and utilizing a K9, but were unsuccessful.

The shoe, which is set to release on February 29, is arguably the hottest commodity in sneakers right now. Tagged with an RRP of $150, the silhoutte is already selling on StockX for about $1,100 — Sole82 places the value at $1,175 a pair. The suspect is still at large. Asheville Police request anyone with information to contact the department.
