Editor’s Notes: After some hesitation, The Hundreds joins forces with Osiris to release a new interpretation of seminal skate shoe, the D3.

Bobby Kim, aka Bobby Hundreds, reveals that he was approached by Brian Reid, the original designer of the D3, back in 2016 with an opportunity to collaborate on the silhouette. Although Bobby chose not to work on the sneaker at the time, Reid gifted him with a sample anyway. When the younger Hundreds staffers saw the potential Hundreds x Osiris D3, they implored Bobby to collaborate on the shoe.

Osiris' D3 is one of the best-selling skate sneakers ever, adopted by a new generation of skate kids and rap-rockers alike. Almost two decades later and demand for the D3 is still undeniable. You can look forward to The Hundreds' collaborative iteration of the shoe releasing this week on June 20.
