Elon Musk has taken to Twitter to reveal some key details of upcoming Tesla Model 3 models. Notably, Musk explains the new Model 3 "Will beat anything in its class on the track."

The all-wheel-drive Model 3 will add on $5,000 to the base price of the current Model 3 price and offer a dual-motor setup: one for longevity and the other for performance. This AWD variation will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 140 mph.

Priced at $78,000 without autopilot according to Musk, the juiced-up performance Model 3 also boasts a dual-motor setup that eliminates 1 second from the 60-mph sprint, and tops out at 155 mph.

Check out Musk's explanation of the specs below.
