Tekashi 6ix9ine is now in the middle of his third day of testifying and the rainbow-haired rapper is taking his cooperation with the feds very seriously. On Thursday, 6ix9ine appeared in court and volunteered a slew of information, including claims that Cardi B is a fellow gang member.

The reference to Cardi seemed totally gratuitous. According to NBC News, 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was being cross-examined about his alleged kidnapping when he identified Jim Jones, another rapper, as gang-affiliated, and digressed again to say that Cardi B was also a member of the notorious Bloods gang.

Cardi B, who grew up in the Bronx, admitted in a 2018 GQ interview that she used to "hang out with a lot of bloods." TMZ reports that a rep from Cardi has since denied Hernandez's claims that she was ever a gang member. Cardi also responded in her own subtle way, posting a now-viral video clip of actress Keke Palmer saying "I don't know who this man is."

Aside from snitching on fellow rappers, Hernandez also made several disclosures about his kidnapping — which is what the trial actually concerns — admitting that he lied about and exaggerated details of the incident because he "was humiliated."

Hernandez’s next court appearance will likely be his sentencing, which is expected to take place in January 2020. You can read up on the first part of the rapper's testimony here.
