Following the recent new poster reveal, Disney shares new footage from this year's anticipated Star Wars film, The Rise of Skywalker. The clip was premiered at the company's much talked-about D23 Expo over the weekend.

The video begins with excerpts from past Star Wars movies, before sprinkling in clips from The Rise of Skywalker. Notably, we get our first look at dark Rey as she is donning a black hood and carrying a dual lightsaber.

While debuting the visual, director J.J. Abrams announced that The Rise of Skywalker will include unseen footage of Carrie Fisher from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Kelly Marie Tran, Joonas Suotamo, Billie Lourd, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, and Billy Dee Williams, in addition to newcomers Naomi Ackie, Richard E. Grant, and Keri Russell. The film hits theaters December 20.

On this episode of The Dropcast, we are joined by Juice Rodriguez, the VP of Marketing at Concepts, the brand that is known for their footwear collabs. Listen below.
