Snoop Dogg is facing backlash after sharing behind-the-scenes studio footage of him hanging out with Kanye West and Dr. Dre. After the video was posted, fans took to Twitter to brand Snoop a "hypocrite" for seemingly backtracking on previous criticism of Kanye and his relationship with Donald Trump.

Per HipHopDX, in a 2018 interview with Sirius XM’s DJ Suss One, Snoop said anyone supporting Trump was a "racist." He added, "Fuck you and fuck him…Kanye too ... don’t forget about him too, fuck you too! Throw him in the bag ‘cuz he right with them muthafuckas.”

Original post: The studio video surfaced on social media this weekend, which appears to show Kanye and Dre working on the highly anticipated Jesus Is King sequel.  Snoop secretly filmed the video while in the studio with super-producers.

In the "exclusive footage," Snoop lounges in the back of the studio as he narrates what's going on. "Kanye West got some hot music. Shhhhh," he whispers. "Kanye West got some hot shit. Only I can get exclusive footage. Shut up. Motherf*cker. Kanye West got some hot shit. It's finna come out. Dr. Dre touched dat." The video goes on to show Kanye and Dre working near the mixing control surfaces.

For now, it's unclear whether Snoop will be featuring on the project as well.

Kanye followed up on Twitter, proving that the footage was very recent. "IM SORRY DOCTOR DRE I SPILT THESE THREE DROPS OF ORANGE JUICE MIXED WITH UUUUUUM WHILE WE WERE FINISHING OUR FIRST PROJECT," the rapper wrote alongside a picture of a cup of orange juice placed on a rug.

It's unclear whether the record in development is in fact a sequel to Kanye's 2019 gospel album, but it's very likely. Late last year, Kanye first revealed he had linked with Dr. Dre for a Jesus Is King Part II. However, since the surprising announcement, not much else has been revealed about the project. That is until this Friday.

After breaking the news about his 10-year YEEZY partnership with Gap, Kanye also confirmed a slew of other projects on Twitter, including the anticipated gospel album with Dre.
