Salomon's ACS Pro Continues to Excite
As Salomon's XT-6 model enjoys its ten-year anniversary and the XT-4 reverts back to its OG colorways, there's stiff competition within the ranks of Salomon sneaker models. That is because a relative newcomer on the block continues to steal the limelight: the ACS Pro.
The shoe is a reworked version of the brand's decades-old GCS Pro model, one of the many outdoor styles that Salomon can mine for inspiration in its archive.

Complete with a chunky frame that gives it a quintessential early-2000s hiker look, it's been able to rely on its retro silhouette for fast sell-out times, launching in relatively minimal color combinations (except for that extremely loud L'Art de L'Automobile collaboration).
But now, with its latest SS23 selection, the Salomon team has done what it does best and had some fun with its color combinations — making the ACS Pro even more desirable. Titled "Lapis Blue/Black/Butter", the newest variation includes two primary colors alongside grey and black hues that set it apart from the previously more neutral general release drops.
It's not quite on the level of full-on tie-dye or fiery red gradient prints which we've seen the label deploy on other models, but it's enough to put the ACS Pro firmly on our radar when doing our bi-yearly swooning over new season Salomon Sportstyle colorways.
Plus, with an upcoming DSM-exclusive colorway coming up and an OG version hitting the shops, the future for Salomon only spells more ACS Pro domination.
