Rolling Loud Hong Kong, what was slated to be Asia's first ever iteration of the festival, has been cancelled amid organizers' safety concerns due to the continuing conflict between political protesters and police in Hong Kong.

The festival was supposed to take place coming weekend featuring prominent headliners Migos and Wiz Khalifa as well as Playboi Carti, $uicideboy$, Night Lovell, Ski Mask the Slump God, Lil Skies, Smokepurpp and more.

In a statement Rolling Loud explained the decision, “After consulting with security experts, it has been determined that is is not possible to organize the upcoming Rolling Loud Hong Kong edition as we had hoped without endangering the safety and well-being of our fans, artists and staff [...] This is not a decision that has been taken lightly and we look forward to bringing the Rolling Loud festival experience to Hong Kong in the future.” The statement went on to assure ticket holders that they would receive full refunds.
