Editor’s Notes: PUMA joins with LA-based designer Rhuigi Villaseñor for its first-ever collection in collaboration with RHUDE. Consisting of unisex apparel and sneakers, the project finds Villaseñor implementing classic suiting techniques, unexpected patterns, and pops of color throughout the capsule.

“Having immigrated to the United States before going to high-school, I learned about the power of brand recognition in a different way than most American designers," says Villaseñor, RHUDE's founder. "The power of a logo can hold such weight and serve armor in its own way, the idea that I have the access to re-imagine that concept with my own brand in partnership with PUMA is a dream come true its own right.”

Serving as standouts from the RHUDE x PUMA collection are four collaborative sneakers in the '90s sport-inspired CELL Alien, the retro-inspired Palace Guard, the vintage basketball Basket ’68 OG Mid, and the ALTERATION. Complementing the footwear is a selection of apparel which includes T-shirts, hoodies, track tops and track pants, and coats, all available in unisex sizing.

“Rhuigi is the most exciting designer right now, setting a new narrative in the fashion and street space," adds PUMA Global Senior Head of Partnerships, Yassine Saidi. "For our first collaboration with RHUDE we transformed the iconic sport-inspired silhouettes from PUMA with RHUDE’s recognized streetwear sensibility and minimalistic approach in order to create disruptive new models.”

RHUDE and PUMA's collaborative collection launches at PUMA stores, select retailers, and PUMA.com on August 3.
