Reebok x BOTTER Brings The Weird And Wonderful Back To PFW
When you hear 'Reebox x BOTTER,' you know you’re in for a wild surprise. Over the past year, the duo’s drops have nodded to a futuristic parallel universe, a world where limits don’t exist. Remember their 3D-printed concept sneaker, the Venus Comb Murex Shell? That shoe was inspired by the growth and forms of a seashell while referencing the Greek goddess Venus' comb: a complete experimentation explosion — like you really can’t make this stuff up.
Both brands aren’t afraid to push themselves (and you) out of their comfort zone if it means creating something never seen before — and their Paris Fashion Week presentation just built on that even further.
The Reebok x BOTTER footwear once again stole the show, with the hard-to-miss yellow and blue vectorized Bo Kéts sneaker being the main showstopper. Inspired by vintage Reebok football boots and climbing shoes, the sneaker has a deconstructed upper, rubber wrap guard, and folding tongue that draws on Reebok soccer cleats from the early 2000s but also stays true to BOTTER's fearless design goals. These made their way down the runway alongside the evolution of the signature 3D-printed Murex. To fit the season, the Murex Shell took on an alien-like free-flowing pool slide form in black and different color gradients, while single slits from the back of the other sneakers created trompe l’œil silhouettes that tricked the eye.
Vests, pants, jumpers, and bags were all finished with BOTTER’s trademark bold stamp, with doll heads, chains, Scooby Doo yarns, and mini hands accessorizing the already eye-catching pieces. Stockings flowed into sneakers as if they were a second skin while twisted panels all merged into one raw-cut garment.

It felt strong and cohesive, and I love that they continue to use these toy motifs to accessorize the RTW. The new Reebok slide iteration is super cool — there’s a clear distinction in the wearability in comparison to last season’s sneaker, taking the design from conceptual to wearable.
Reebok x BOTTER have a way of leaving us shocked with their weird and wonderful creations, with both bringing their own unique twists into the mix. Reebok LTD has classic sportswear technicality and vintage design down to a T while Dutch duo Lisi Herrebrugh and Rushemy Botter of BOTTER use their playful aesthetic and design approach to redefine footwear and fashion as a whole, transporting their collections and collaborations to another world.
Every season, Reebok x BOTTER manage to go one wacky step further. It’s like the gift that keeps on giving, and we’re excited to see what comes next.
