Getting through the winter can be hard. Bitter cold, short days, and the lingering feeling of seasonal affective disorder; sometimes, all we want to do is hibernate.

If you need something to get you through it, look no further; festival season is fast approaching, and with Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, Skrillex, and plenty more, Parklife 2023 is shaping up to shut down summer.

We love a festival in the UK. From the start to finish of the circuit, we've got more than a handful to keep us entertained. Whether you're clambering to secure a Glastonbury ticket, looking to get freaky at Boomtown, chasing metal at Download, or indulging in your first-ever experience via Reading and Leeds, it's hard to beat a British summer.

There's a little (big) festival up in not-so-funny Manchester that every raver should have on their radar if they haven't already made it part of their annual festival circuit – Parklife.

Heralded as one of the biggest, if not the biggest, events in the city's cultural calendar, Parklife invites over 75,000 people per day, over two days, to Heaton Park for a stacked line-up of the hottest artists across several genres.

Having attended the festival every year for the last seven, I can attest to the peak levels of curation that go into crafting the line-up. With that, I can say with confidence that 2023 will the biggest Parklife to date.

For the Drum n Bass heads amongst us, Parklife 2023 will be a schedule like no other. With Crucast, Hedex, King of the Rollers, Shy FX, K-Motionz, Bou, and more bringing sets to the dance, it's going to be one to remember.

Even bigger, though, is the headline talent headed to Manchester from the States. Making his way back to the global festival circuit, a new album in tow (ten years since his last full release), Skrillex looks to bring a new generation into his sphere.

Sitting alongside Skrillex at the line-up top billing slots, hip-hop royalty Wu-Tang Clan and Nas join forces. Additional UK rap talents, from Little Simz to Aitch, also look to take top spots over the weekend.

If you've never indulged in a Parklife weekend, 2023 is the year to do it. Trust me; it's going to be a mad one.
