Reigning French champions Paris Saint-Germain have announced that they have partnered with the Prince Estate to pay homage to the legendary late musician via an exclusive capsule collection.

The collection includes a 7” vinyl that features Prince’s hit song “Partyman” and an unreleased live version of “Cool” from the transcendent artist’s last performance in Paris in 2014. The vinyl is pressed on collectible purple vinyl at MPO in France as a nod to “The Purple One.”

Additionally, PSG and the Prince Estate will release two apparel capsules that were designed in collaboration with Prince associate Trevor Guy and the pop icon’s late-career personal clothing designers Cathy Robinson and Lori Marcuz.

The first apparel range includes an official 2020-21 PSG fourth kit embellished with Prince’s signature symbol and gold and metallic hand-sewn leather overlays. Purple shirts, multi-layered neoprene jogger sets, and Italian leather bucket hats round out the collection. All pieces were hand-crafted in Toronto and take inspiration from the clothing Prince wore between 2011 and 2016.

The second collection, dubbed "Prince of the Parc,” comprises a range of hoodies, crewnecks, hats, and T-shirts. These will be available in limited quantities at PSG stores in Japan and the United States.

The vinyl is available now at PSG’s Paris Megastore and online at PSG.fr and Prince.com. Both apparel collections will be available at the PSG Megastore, the PSG Champs-Elysées store, and PSG.fr beginning May 24.
