What We’re Saying: All 50 colorways from Virgil Abloh and Nike’s "Dear Summer" collaboration have been unveiled on SNKRS, giving us a complete look at the much-anticipated collection. The overwhelming majority — 49 of 50 to be exact — boast a white and gray color scheme, while the final pair emerges in black with a metallic Swoosh.

Users have been able to swipe through a story on the SNKRS app that teases all colorways from the collection via videos and stills. The Dunks are individually numbered and broken down into two material combinations: "Leather/Canvas" and "Hairy Suede/Leather."

As mentioned previously, almost all colorways feature the same white and gray color blocking, where white canvas or leather makes up the base, while gray paneling in either hairy suede or leather completes the largely muted look. Vibrant accents on the extra, trail-inspired lacing provide pops of color to the collection, as Abloh's signature design elements tie the collab to his previous Off-White™ x Nike projects.

Having been teased for weeks — most recently on billboards throughout various cities — the Off-White™ x Nike Dunk Low "Dear Summer" collection is easily Virgil's most ambitious project with the Swoosh to date. Their collaborative partnership began with 10 sneakers in 2017 and will culminate with nearly 100 pairs once the 50 are released.

Nike has shared an August 9 launch date for the collection, revealing that the Dunks will be available via Exclusive Access invitations to members of the SNKRS community. The brand insists that the more you engage on the SNKRS app, the more likely you are to receive personal invitations. However, those that are granted access to purchase the Dunks won't have the option to choose the colorway. Instead, they will be issued at random, albeit in the preferred size.
