NASA has offered to school Golden State Warrior Stephen Curry with hard facts after the NBA player suggested he does not believe that the Moon landings ever happened, The New York Times reports.

On The Ringer's Winging It podcast, Curry asked his fellow guests, "We ever been to the Moon?" When the guests denied the idea human beings had ever stepped on the Moon, Curry added, "They’re going to come get us. Sorry, I don't want to start conspiracies."

NASA's Apollo program conducted six successful Moon landings between 1969 and 1972, putting 12 astronauts on the lunar surface. After Curry's comments came out, NASA spokesman Allard Beutel extended an offer to show the star around the Johnson Space Center in Houston, saying "We have hundreds of pounds of Moon rocks stored there, and the Apollo mission control. During his visit, he can see firsthand what we did 50 years ago."
