The McLaren 600LT is the next chapter in the McLaren "Longtail" (LT) story, with this latest track-focused yet road-legal model offering increased power, reduced weight, optimized aerodynamics, and absolute driver engagement.

Flaunting a new composition of carbon fiber bodywork, a forged aluminum double wishbone, new front splitter, side sill, extended diffuser and fixed rear wing, the 600LT is 74mm longer than McLaren’s previous sports series but 6lb lighter.

The vehicle's profile flows from a sharp front toward a sporty and aggressive rear, bearing the brand’s typically edgy taillights in combination with an exhaust system featuring top-exit pipes and an extended rear spoiler with a ceramic, heat-cooling paint finish.

To deliver its extreme performance, the McLaren 600LT is powered by a twin-turbocharged, 3.8-liter V8 engine that benefits from an updated cooling system and reduced back pressure in an exhaust system that is even shorter and more extreme than the McLaren Senna. Peak power is 592bhp with maximum torque of 457lb ft.

The 600LT will be hand-assembled at McLaren’s UK production center and is available to order now from McLaren retailers, subject to availability. It's unclear as yet how much the 600LT will cost, but we assume it'll cost more than the $188,600 base price of the McLaren 570S.
