Editor’s Notes: PLEASURES is no stranger to embracing music legends for its seasonal releases (the FW19 drop was a direct homage to Joy Division), so, aptly, for SS20 the LA-based imprint is turning towards arguably the original harbinger of primetime news moral panic, Marilyn Manson.

Manson first broke onto the alt music scene in 1994 with his band's debut album, Portrait Of An American Family. The singer's alarming appearance and startling stage name (a combination of serial killer Charles Manson and Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe) skewered mainstream culture and led to a cult fanbase and a reputation as one of the most famous shock-rockers of the ’90s and early ’00s.

For this collaboration, PLEASURES worked closely with Manson to assign out his riveting iconography and original artworks across hoodies, tees, short-sleeve shirts, caps, and mesh long-sleeved T-shirts.
