T-Pain and Lil Jon went head to head on Instagram Live last night — the latest battle in an ongoing series, VERZUZ, organized by Swizz Beatz. During the battle, the artists jammed to some of their biggest hits, but Lil Jon surprised fans when he debuted an unreleased song featuring Usher and Ludacris.

Swizz Beatz announced the battle on Instagram on Thursday. On Saturday it was finally T-Pain and Lil Jon's turn to enter the ring, and they did not disappoint. The artists played their 20 greatest hits and showed major love to each other. T-Pain started by admitting that Lil Jon remains a huge inspiration for him. “Look, you’re a formidable challenger, sir. I got a lot of my shit from you. I have no problem if I take this L.”

Lil Jon started out by playing his recognizable bop "Get Low," which T-Pain countered with his own hit "Low." T-Pain also brought out “Kiss Kiss,” even performing the intro live to an unimpressed Lil Jon.

Lil Jon kicked things up a notch and surprise-debuted a snippet of a unreleased new record with Usher and Ludacris, written by Jermaine Dupri. He even admitted he had to get the green light from Usher to play the song: "You don’t know how hard it was to get Usher to be like, ‘alright you can play this shit.'"
