Double Tap to Zoom

As part of his #WESTDAYEVER rollout with Gap, Kanye West officially released the video for his track "Spaceship" yesterday – 16 years after it was first set to drop.

Ye made the announcement last night that the long lost visual for the GLC and Consequence-assisted track was finally going to make its debut. The track was on his debut studio album The College Dropout and the video leaked on YouTube many years ago.

On Twitter, the rapper wrote "THIS IS WHAT WE DREAMED OF BACK THEN," referencing the time he was a  Gap employee, which is also captured in the video. The visual marks a full-circle moment following the announcement of Kanye’s 10-year Gap partnership announcement.

The video follows a young Kanye as a Gap employee growing increasingly frustrated with his mall job as he dreams of escaping to space. GLC and Consequence make appearances. Towards the end of the playful video Ye puts on an astronaut suit after long day at work and take off in his spaceship.
