Originally slated for a July 24 release, Kanye West's forthcoming album DONDA now seems up in the air. With all the antics surrounding the album, it's unclear when we'll ever get the release, but according to Ye's manager, his next project is more than worth the wait.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, West's manager Abou "Bu" Thiam spoke quite highly about what Yeezy has been cooking up. "It’s some of the greatest music he’s made," he revealed. "And everything that’s happening now is making the music better. He has more to talk about, more to say."

In July, Ye took to Twitter to unveil the album art for DONDA. It features an infrared scheme of orange, red, and green, depicted are the silhouettes of people and the sun and moon in the sky, set against green mountains and purple and white clouds.

Ahead of posting the cover art, Kanye posted an updated tracklist for DONDA and reiterated that his follow-up to Jesus Is King and Jesus Is Born would drop Friday, July 24. According to the tweet, the 12-track LP won't include his recently released single “Wash Us in the Blood” featuring Travis Scott, which appeared on the initial tracklist a week earlier.

It does feature a song called “God’s Country," which was initially the rumored title of the album.

"New Body," presumably featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Nicki Minaj remains on the updated tracklist. It was originally meant to be on YANDHI, with a leaked version trending on TikTok. The album also includes previously-released singles "DONDA." Take a look at the initial tracklist, which West tweeted, then deleted a week earlier.

When it does finally drop, DONDA will mark the rapper's tenth studio album and his first since 2019's, Jesus Is King. West recently revealed that a Jesus Is King sequel with Dr. Dre was "coming soon," but it's unclear whether the project in question is DONDA.
