Double Tap to Zoom

In 2024, Jordan Brand devised its most handsome hybrid sneaker, the Jordan 2/3. The Frankenstein Jordan model, which is basically an Air Jordan 2 Low with the Jordan 3's Air sole, left quite the mark during its debut year, dropping in several immaculate color schemes.

Its 2025 plans? The Jordan 2/3 shoe is poised to bring even more heat to the forefront.

First up, the Jordan 2/3 is anticipated to release in the familiar "UNC to Chicago" colorway this year. As the name implies, the color combo unites the two iconic Jordan colorways, marrying UNC blues with Chicago red, white, and black colors.

The "UNC to Chicago" scheme previously appeared on a women's Jordan 1 High that dropped in 2020, striking an intriguing balance of bold and calm shades. The colorway blend is now expected to bring a similar vibe to the clean Jordan 2/3 hybrid sneaker.

And if it's anything like the shoe's previous admirable drops, like the the "White Gum," then I suspect we'll be in good hands with the "UNC to Chicago" Jordan 2/3s.

Plus, we already know that the Jordan model rocks the "UNC" blues well.

Additionally, sneaker leakers reported that Jordan's 2/3 sneaker will launch in a "Rust Pink/Black" color during the summer season, along with the "UNC to Chicago" pairs.

The "Rust Pink" scheme has pretty-fied a handful over the years, including the Jordan 3 and Jordan 1 High Retro models. Expect the Jordan 2/3 to enjoy a similar dolled-up treatment.

But that's not all. The Jordan sneaker recently dropped in a Mocha-style "Earth" colorway. It's also supposed to release in "Washed Coral" and classic "White/Fire Red/White Cement" this year, making for a pretty solid lineup for the mashup shoe.

At the moment, only speculative mockups exist for the forthcoming colorways, but I'm not worried about the final results. A sneaker as good-looking as the Jordan 2/3 probably doesn't miss even on its not-so-best colorway days.
