Jonah Hill has been recognized for dropping the most curse words in film history, taking the top spot from Samuel L. Jackson.

A new report by Buzz Bingo reveals that Hill has collectively uttered the most profanities in his film back-catalog, having cursed 376 times in total, and 22.9 times per 1,000 words uttered. This surpasses Jackson's total of 301.

Hill's film The Wolf of Wall Street significantly improved his ranking when it released in 2013 — it also became the most profane movie of all time.

Yesterday, Hill reacted to the news on Instagram, hilariously thanking those who helped him accomplish the achievement. "So many people to thank. [Martin Scorsese] thanks for pushing me over the edge. And of course the great [Samuel L. Jackson]. Humbled," he wrote. Take a look below.
