John Boyega has admitted that he's the owner of that leaked Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker script which appeared on eBay earlier this month. So, how did one of the year's most hotly anticipated, top-secret projects end up on eBay? Speaking to Good Morning America, Boyega explained how the major mishap happened.

“Alright guys, it was me. Let me tell you how this all went down,” he confessed. “It was actually from my apartment. I was moving apartments and I left the script under my bed."  The actor explained how a few weeks later a cleaner discovered the script, "and then put it on eBay for like £65 (approixmately $84), so the person didn’t know the true value."

On the talk show, Boyega also touched on the "scary" consequences of his mistake. “I got calls from every official. Even Mickey Mouse called me like, ‘What did you do?!’” he joked. Watch his full interview above.

On Monday, director JJ Abrams coyly revealed that an unnamed cast member had almost leaked the script, saying "One of our actors, I'm not going to say which one — I want to, but I won't — left it under their bed and it was found by someone who was cleaning their place." Luckily, the studio recovered the script before it was sold, making the plot a secret once more before the film hits theaters December 20.
