Editor's Notes: The third release this year (and the fourth in total) for J.Crew and New Balance's fun run of collab sneakers, this edition switches it up, reworking New Balance's 999 silhouette for the first time.

Inspired by the darkening days, the New Balance® X J.Crew 999 Night Sky sneakers are crafted from premium American suede combined with mesh for the upper. The colorway is suitably dark, pivoting around blue and black to evoke the night sky.

However, the highlight for us (pun only slightly intended here) is the use of glow-in-the-dark green materials that pop on the sole. We've seen this very '90s throwback material making a cheeky come back in recent drops, and we're loving it on this New Balance classic. Here's on to the next collab.
