Double Tap to Zoom

Reviewing the Jacqueumus FW21 collection, our ex-Editorial Director Christopher Morency explained that: "wearing Jacquemus makes you feel like the long-awaited summer has arrived at last. You want to do anything other than sit inside when you wear Jacquemus."

Unfortunately, for a label that has built a reputation for its fashion shows staged everywhere from a lavender field to the beach, that was the last IRL fashion show we have been treated to by the French designer. However, Jacquemus did make up for the lack of in-person interaction by unveiling his latest collection, titled LE SPLASH, with a fashion editorial featuring Bad Bunny.

The HIGHArt cover star has never been shy of pulling off an eccentric look or two, and the label tapped into that for its latest campaign. The Puerto Rican singer was seen jetskiing wearing nothing but a gilet and goggles, flexing in a pink strappy dress, rollerskating topless in pink shorts, and more. As Morency said, Jacqumues is for anywhere but inside.

With Spring only around the corner and some of the "LE SPLASH" collection hitting the Highsnobiety shop, we tried our hand at styling some pieces that we would want to wear out and about from the colorful world of Jacquemus.

With each look being put together by one of our in-house styling gurus Jerome Glock, he walks us through each outfit and how he matched up Jacqumues' whimsical designs with labels such as Acne Studios and Moon Boot.

A colorful knitwear moment

"When it comes to spring sweaters, you'll struggle to find one better than this. Throw on some wide-leg pants to compliment the sweater's boxy fit and you can not go wrong."

Winter boots all spring

"I know pairing moon boots with shorts sounds kinda crazy... but somehow it just works."

The best of the basics

"I honestly love this hoodie, it might not be the loudest piece but the boxy fit and light blue color are just perfect."

A monochrome look... but elevated

"Finishing off with something more simple, Jacquemus branding and strap detailing on the trousers means that this isn't your usual white top and black trousers combination."
