HH-118389225 might look like a fairly secure Wi-Fi password at first glance, but it’s actually the fashion-focused sub-brand of Helly Hansen, the almost 150-year-old Norwegian label.

Inspired by Helly Hansen’s history of creating performance-driven and professional grade gear, HH-118389225, which stands for “ARCHIVE”, embodies the brand’s past with contemporary premium capsule collections.

Simply put, it’s classic Helly Hansen through 2024’s contemporary gorpcore lens.

Since HH-118389225’s inception back in 2019, the label has taken cues from current and/or historic Helly Hansen products and technologies to distill them into cutting-edge, modular outdoor wardrobe systems.

CAPSULE “241”, or Spring/Summer 2024, as the season is more commonly known, doubles down on delivering wardrobe modularity with the introduction of both new and evolved styles.

Take the ARC Modular Sailing jacket, for instance, a style that now offers a cropped and full-length silhouette in one garment, with a concealed hood in the neck, and with the ability to dock with the line’s flagship “Storm Hood”.

Then there's the ARC “Reversed” Storm Shell package, a three-piece capsule that plays with the idea of highlighting the internals of the brand's technical products on the outside.

HH-118389225 isn’t merely remaking Helly Hansen products for the modern consumer.

Instead, through meticulous archival research and an unwavering eye for necessary functionality, it’s a sub-brand that’s celebrating HH’s heritage in its own modernized way — which is something we can all get on board with, I'm sure.
