Eytys Announces First London Store & Newly Expanded Denim Line
Stockholm-based footwear company Eytys has announced the opening of its first London flagship store. The brand, which first launched in 2013, will open the doors to its Soho location on Thursday, September 6.
Designed in-house by the Eytys team, the minimal-meet-brutalist space drew inspiration from designer Shiro Kuramata, in particular, his Japanese Issey Miyake stores from the early ’80s.
The interior of the store includes a monochrome taupe color scheme, rough concrete and postmodern accents such as aluminum and Italian burl veneer, alongside artwork from select Swedish artists. Browse images of the store above.
The store will feature Eytys' full collections of unisex footwear, ready-to-wear and its newly expanded denim line.
After launching its first jeans capsule in 2017, the Swedish company has since revamped three of its original styles, the Boyle, Cypress, and Benz. Inspired by American workwear, the jeans are made from heavy duty-denim and come in straight leg and baggy styles. Each pair features heavy contrast stitching and is available in black, blue, or a tartan patterned colorway.
