Emilia Clarke, best known for her portrayal of Khaleesi on Game of Thrones, has opened up about the pressure to get naked on-screen. During a recent episode of Dax Shepard's "Armchair Expert" podcast, Clarke spoke of her nude scenes on Thrones and how they've since contributed to industry pressure, particular in regards to nudity requests from producers.

Clarke begins by saying that the gratuitous nudity on Game of Thrones, especially in the first season, didn't always sit well with her. "I'm floating through this first season and I have no idea what I'm doing; I have no idea what any of this is," she explained.

"I've never been on a film set like this before, I'd been on a film set twice before then, and I'm now on a film set completely naked with all of these people, and I don't know what I'm meant to do." It was her co-star Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo), she revealed, who encouraged her to voice her concerns and finally say enough is enough.

Since then, Clarke continues, "I've had fights on set before where I'm like, 'No, the sheet stays up,' and they're like, 'You don't wanna disappoint your Game of Thrones fans.' And I'm like, 'F--- you.'"

Thankfully, Clarke revealed that she has become more comfortable speaking up on set, stating, "I'm a lot savvier with what I'm comfortable with, and what I am okay with doing."
