Sources close to TMZ suggest that Gambino had already suffered a foot injury after he was purportedly seen in a wheelchair and leg brace on Friday ahead of his iHeartRadio Music Festival appearance.

On Sunday, Gambino ended his appearance at the American Airlines Center 30 minutes before the show was scheduled to finish. Upon his exit from the stage, an announcer confirmed the concert was over. While it's unclear what took place, one concertgoer alleged that the rapper aimed to do the splits and injured himself. Others claim that he misjudged a dance move.

A representative for the American Airlines Center later confirmed with the media outlet that Gambino had sustained a broken foot injury.
