Joe La Puma caught up with Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin at Atlanta’s A Ma Maniere for the latest episode of Sneaker Shopping. The 16-year-old, who plays Lucas in the Netflix hit series, walked out with an impressive haul of new sneakers and gear, but before then, he and La Puma discussed everything from the young actor's sudden fame to his favorite NBA team.

Wearing his current favorite sneaker, the Nike Kyrie 4 “Red Carpet,” McLaughlin tells the story of how sneakers got him into fashion, why he mostly wears NBA kicks, and what it was like when he was seeded an early pair of the atmos x Nike Air Max 1 “Elephant.”

The actor also tells La Puma that one of his style inspirations is Russell Westbrook and reveals that he’s not a huge fan of the YEEZY 500.

To find out which sneakers McLaughlin copped on the show, watch the video above.
