"Regeneration explores the idea that to become something new and perhaps, evolve into something better, it must first be broken down to the most fundamental level. We have a choice. Who do we want to be?"

That's how Kendall Falcon, creative director of Dallas-based watch studio BREDA, explains the brand's new vision for greater self-expression, a response to changing and uncertain times. As is the case with many fashion and accessory labels, 2020 has led BREDA to re-align its products and how it speaks to its audience.

BREDA's FW20 campaign sees the brand drop all gendered language from its channels, championing both inclusivity and individuality. Ultimately, BREDA wants users to wear its watches in the ways best-fitting to forms and lives. This has resulted in a variety of timeless accessories — timepieces centered on simplicity and ease-of-use.

The Visser is inspired by minimalist sculptor Carel Nicolaas Visser, whose art focused on the relationship between shapes and space. This easily-styled, square watch will be as at home with a suit as it is with a tracksuit.
