BMW Debuts Their Biggest SUV Ever With the X7
BMW finally unveils the first-ever X7, a 7 Series Sedan with the presence and functionality of an X-model, scheduled to hit the market in 2019. The new head of the BMW X family, the X7 serves as the biggest SUV BMW has ever produced.
The massive vehicle features a noticeably prominent front, large windows, high ground clearance, and a long roofline, in addition to chrome detailing and LED lights as standard. The interior then boasts three rows of seating, capable of carrying seven people, as the third row is outfitted with armrests, cupholders, and USB ports. All seats are then electrically adjustable. Four-zone climate control, ambient lighting, a three-part panoramic roof glass, and leather are all also standard for the X7.
The X7 houses a single-turbo 3.0-liter inline-6 in the xDrive40i model (335 horsepower) and a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 in the xDrive50i (456 horsepower), each coming with an eight-speed automatic and all-wheel drivetrain capable of transferring all power to the rear.
Equipped with a complete range of modern driver assistance systems, as well as Live Cockpit Professional with BMW Operating System 7.0 including BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant standard, the xDrive40i retails for $74,895, while the xDrive50i is priced at $93,595. Look for the BMW X7 to hit dealerships in March of next year.
