Leave it to Blue Ivy to effortlessly pull off the infamous Converse heels.

Beyoncé and JAY-Z's tween star spent a night out with her incredibly famous parents, celebrating the 20th anniversary of JAY-Z's charitable Shawn Carter Foundation.

The Carters were naturally dressed to the nines for the celebration. Beyoncé donned a stunning custom Valdrin Sahiti gown, while Blue wore a chic green ALC pleated one-shoulder dress.

While we loved Blue's gown — we see it as quite perfect for the young celeb though there was some heated tweet debate about its age-appropriateness — what really caught our attention was her footwear choice: a pair of platform Chuck Taylor heels. Yes, those Chuck Taylor heels.

Converse calls them the Chuck 70 De Luxe Heel. We call them terrifying.

Either way, the heeled rendition of Converse's timeless sneaker dropped earlier this year and sold out in a couple of colorways on the brand's website, including the classic black and white look that Blue Ivy herself wore.

Although at least a little too adventurous for our tastes, the Chuck Taylor heel is something you'd definitely expect to take off with Gen-Zers like Blue Ivy. Kids of that era love the weird, chunky stuff, footwear-wise. Take Converse's Run Star Motion, as an example — of course, Blue Ivy is a fan of those shoes, too.

It's all only further evidence of Blue Ivy's amusingly deep devotion to Nike (which owns Converse); it's funny that Blue is such a Nike stan 'cuz of Beyoncé's IVY PARK collaboration with adidas and JAY-Z's PUMA relationship.

Then again, JAY-Z has also been drifting away from his sportswear partner to indulge in the occasional Nike so maybe love for the Swoosh just runs in the Knowles-Carter family.

Anyways, the, er, eye-catching heeled-Converse shoes are perfect for a tween like Blue Ivy. They're playful enough and the heel is low enough that it makes sense for a young girl entering her teen era but not ready to go all-in on formality.

Plus, a gown paired with sneaker-heels? Kinda iconic, if you ask me. If anyone was gonna make the Converse heels work, it was gonna be Beyoncé's daughter.
