What We’re Saying: BAPE and Suicoke are no strangers to collaborations, having worked together on co-branded collections in the past. This season, the two Japanese brands team up on a special edition of Suicoke’s DAO sandal, which features a Velcro closure and a little pouch on each strap.

The co-branded sandal arrives plastered in BAPE’s famous ABC Camo pattern and is set to be released on May 4 at BAPE stores and online.

With sandals and open-toe footwear becoming much more popular due to the WFH and loungewear craze developed during Corona lockdowns last year, this co-branded DAO sandal comes at just the right time.

Making this drop even sweet, is the fact that Suicoke sandals stand out from the rest due to their robust build and that they can (at times) almost pass as sneakers. If you’re looking to pick up a fresh pair of sandals this summer, you could do worse than this BAPE x Suicoke DAO — both in terms of quality and with regards to aesthetics.
