Since the success of Bored Ape Yacht Club, HAPEBEAST, and more, we've seen the birth of several other NFT projects featuring ape-inspired visuals. Now, there's a new ape in town – one that hasn't come to play.

Since 1993, streetwear label BAPE has been synonymous with apes due to its recognizable ape-head logo graphic, as well as other monkey characters including Baby Milo, and now the label is stepping into the NFT space with its own collection of digital art.

If it is anywhere close to the value of a Bored Ape, which Justin Bieber just spent $1.3 billion on one, it's a good (monkey) business to be in.

Dubbed the (B)APETAVERSE, the drop will feature 10,000 unique NFTs designed and created by BAPE, with little information yet available as to when the official mint will begin.

"ALL BEINGS OF THE METAVERSE, COME GREET THE KING OF APES, WHOSE NEW FACE SHALL BE UNVEILED SOON!" reads the BAPETAVERSE website, adding that the NFT community is for the brand's most dedicated fans to access an exclusive world of BAPE content that includes "limitless possibilities."

The official visual hasn't been revealed yet, but the teaser shows a hyper-realistic render of the BAPE logo, and will undoubtedly play with some of the label's most recognizable patterns and visuals.

If you're interested in following the NFT project, there's a Discord dedicated to new information, as well as a sign-up page available on the website.
