ASICS and Angelo Baque are teaming up once again, following their 2019 GEL-Kayano 5 360 collaboration. The Awake NY founder teased a shot of an upcoming sneaker on Instagram, revealing a profile shot of the heel.

Without even having seen the full sneaker, it’s clear that we’ve got another banger on our hands. The sneaker looks to feature GEL technology, albeit not a full 360 like on the previous collab. A blue, turquoise and metallic silver upper is accentuated by a silver leopard print on the mesh base.

So far the name of the sneaker is unknown (though it is partially visible on the back of the heel, for those that want to do some investigating), nor are there any release details beyond the project being part of Awake and ASICS’ FW20 plans.

If the release of the co-branded 2019 GEL-Kayano 5 360 is anything to go by, there might be an alternate colorway that has yet to be unveiled. As always, stay tuned.
