Aesop

Owner of everyone's favorite-smelling stores Aesop just announced three new additions to its growing fragrance line. Perfect after months spent largely indoors, the Othertopias collection comprises three scents designed to transport you to new and distant environments, connecting their user with the natural world.

Developed alongside its longtime fragrance partner, the scents are titled Miraceti, Karst, and Erémia, and take you to the boat, the shore, and the wasteland, respectively. While the latter might not sound too appealing on first listen, its notes of yuzu, iris, and galbanum say otherwise.

Miraceti, or the boat, bottles the scents of the sea, with hints of seaweed, ambrette, and incense. Karst, or the shore, is a mineral-based fragrance, packing notes of sandalwood and cumin.

The Othertopias collection will be available online and at Aesop stores around the world on July 5. Miraceti, Karst, and Erémia all come in 50ml glass bottles and with packaging bearing unique artworks by Belfast-based artist Jack Coulter.
