Aesop is about to release its first-ever milk-format facial cleanser, which is said to purify the skin without stripping away natural moisture.

The Aesop Gentle Facial Cleansing Milk is designed for daily use and contains skin-nourishing ingredients such as grape seed oil, sandalwood, lavender, and panthenol. It is suitable for most skin types, but particularly those with sensitive or dry skin.

“Cleansing is an integral part of caring for the skin, and we wanted to formulate a cleanser in a new texture that was true to our core philosophy of using considered ingredients to deliver a gentle cleanse,” says Dr Kate Forbes, Aesop’s General Manager of Product. “Dry and fragile skin requires gentle cleansing that will not overly disturb protective skin lipids or unnecessarily aggravate the skin."

The Gentle Facial Cleansing Milk is packaged in 3.4 fl oz ($35) and 6.8 fl oz ($53) amber glass bottles and will be available for purchase at Aesop and select retailers on April 2.
